Creative Leadership, Commercial Campaigns & Ongoing Agency Partnership

Before launching CSA, Chad Stum served as Head of Creative Production at Indiana University, leading large-scale creative projects across the IU system.

 

That work included commercial campaigns, enrollment storytelling, brand content, animation, video production, and creative support for multiple schools, campuses, and university offices.

 

After leaving IU, CSA continued that relationship as an approved Indiana University vendor, supporting projects for the School of Public Health, IU Foundation, Office of the President, School of Education, and other university partners.

 

This case study reflects both chapters of that relationship, in-house creative leadership and continued agency partnership.

The challenge was creating work that could support enrollment, strengthen institutional pride, and communicate the emotional value of the Indiana University experience.

 

From major commercial campaigns to school-specific content and ongoing creative projects, the work needed to feel authentic, cinematic, and deeply connected to the people who make IU what it is.

Produced animation, motion graphics, and visual storytelling elements designed to simplify complex ideas and bring academic programs to life.

Continued Agency Partnership

After leaving IU, CSA continued supporting university projects as an approved vendor, bringing agency-level creative support to schools, offices, and departments across Indiana University.

Things are a little different 

Created during the COVID-19 pandemic, this campaign highlighted the resilience, determination, and adaptability of the Indiana University community. The piece celebrated the students, faculty, and staff who continued moving forward during one of the most challenging periods in the university’s history.
